Many people ask different questions about this great game. If your question is where to buy Chinese checkers that’s the easiest question of all to answer! There is just one little catch. Do you want to shop from home or do you want to drive down to the nearest department store?
You can find several places online to buy a Chinese checker board. You can also buy marbles and pegs for a game you already have but are missing a few marbles for. Lol…lost your marbles…lol….ahem, any way…
I’ve searched three stores on the web and I can give you this info, first you can buy a Chinese checkers board from JCP for $29.99. + shipping. They only sell one kind online and Amazon sells the same one for $15.99 and up.
Sears sells a World Wildlife Fund Amur Chinese Checkers-a Green (I don’t know what all that means), but it sells for $13.59, $6.95 to ship. Walmart sells the same thing for $16.99 + $8.99 to ship. Amazon has the same board from $9.00 - $24.13 and its eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping (on 25 bucks or more) This particular game board has pegs instead of marbles. If you’re buying this game to entice your younger children to play, this may be the board for you. It’s very colorful and has animals on it, also its a Green Wildlife Product.
Walmart has 5 different round wooden boards ranging in price from $15.00 - $20.50 plus shipping, some of these boards have pegs, and some have marbles. Sears has 3 Chinese checkers boards on their site, although they have a few more thru a third party. Amazon has about a hundred boards listed on their site! The prices range from $5.99 for a small magnetic travel set and they list one for $271.68 that’s made from black walnut and has birch inlaid spots. They have a variety of styles, colors and materials, even a glass board model!
So really, the question isn’t where to buy Chinese checkers, it’s which board do I choose!
